[Top Charts UK] One Direction tem a maior estreia de 2013 na parada de discos com o 'Midnight Memories'

Durante toda a semana as faixas "Under Control" e "Somewhere Only We Know" brigaram diretamente nas vendas, mas não teve pra ninguém. O trio Calvin Harris, Alesso e Theo Hutchcraft estreia no lugar mais alto da parada de singles britânica.

"Under Control" se tornou o primeiro #1 de Alesso e Theo, que faz parte da dupla Hurts, enquanto Calvin já está familiarizado com o número um por lá. Logo abaixo deles aparece Gary Barlow subindo com "Let Me Go" para #2, sendo seguido por "Story Of My Life" do One Direction que salta 7 posições.


Lily e Bastille fecham o Top 5, e abaixo deles destaque para o McFly que estreia "Love Is On The Radio" em #6.

E na parada de discos, o One Direction conseguiu mais um grande feito para sua carreira. O álbum 'Midnight Memories' se tornou o mais vendido na semana de estreia em 2013, com incríveis 237 mil cópias, sendo ainda o primeiro CD a conseguir mais de 200 mil cópias nos primeiros sete dias desde o 'Christmas' de Michael Buble em Dezembro de 2011.

Com isso, o 1D supera o Daft Punk com as 165 mil cópias do 'Random Access Memories' em Maio. Os últimos trabalhos da boyband, 'Up All Night' e 'Take Me Home', venderam 139 mil e 155 mil cópias respectivamente.

Em #2 aparece Gary Barlow também estreando com o 'Since I Saw You Last', sendo seguido pelo companheiro de Take That Robbie Williams, que cai para #3 com o #1 da semana passada, 'Swing Both Ways'.

Olly Murs sobe de #96 para #4 com o relançamento do 'Right Place Right Time', e fechando os cinco mais está o 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' de Eminem.
